GayCo is currently looking for fabulous folks in the following areas.

Technical (Posted 9/10/09)
GayCo Productions is looking for a Technical Director and Assistant Tech Director/Stage Manager for their Fall sketch revue, “The Audacity of Nope” at Strawdog Theater.  

Tech Director Duties include: Light & Sound Design; Hanging and designing light plot; Writing cues Asistant Tech Director/Stage Manager Duties include: Assisting with Load In/Strike, running tech for show,  opening the space, calling actors to places, making a final sweep of the space after the show).

It is possible that the TD can run the show, if available. We are willing to train promising candidates in the Assistant position as well as technical interns.

Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays @ 8pm starting November 6 and running through December 5.  Rehearsals are Wednesday Eve and Saturday Days beginning in Mid-September – your attendance at rehearsals can be flexible (except, of course, tech week.)

Your required fee as follows: Fee per performance (3 shows each week, 60 minute performance); Fee requirement for the lighting design/load in/tech week and strike (this can be as a lump sum, per-rehearsal, or simply covered in the performance fee if you run the show.) Join our creative team of volunteers; you might find yourself building a set, creating a prop, or meeting your future bride as you hand her a program on opening night...theater changes lives!
